Melissa Gerling, CPNP
Melissa joined Mali & Mali in the fall of 2019. She has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2012. She has her Masters in Nursing from Wayne State University. After passing the Pediatric Nursing Certification Boards, she began working in the Emergency Department at Troy Beaumont Hospital, taking care of children for the past 11 years. She has also taught for Rochester University's School of Nursing.
Melissa and her husband, Jack, met while studying at Michigan State University. Go Green! There she earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology. Later, she went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy. Melissa and Jack have two children. She enjoys volunteering at their schools and staying active with her family. Family has always been important to her. She is especially grateful that her two older brothers live within walking distance to her, and happy to be raising their families together in this wonderful community.
